Blake co-founded RPS to develop an organization that would challenge the status quo culture in the industry. Leveraging his experience as an operator, Blake has cultivated a leadership team with a shared vision to remain the best employer in the business and top choice by the customer.
Blake’s experience in the aerospace and defense industry began in 2001 as an engineer for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems – Phantom Works Division. During his time at Boeing, Blake supported engineering projects for rotary and fixed wing aircraft. After four years with Boeing, Blake joined the United States Air Force and spent 10 years flying manned and unmanned aircraft, becoming the first qualified Lieutenant RPA pilot and the only dual-qualified MQ-1/9 Lieutenant in the Air Force. By 2013, Blake had flown over 600 combat missions, accumulating more than 3,000 hours operating unmanned aircraft. As lead flight instructor and evaluator for the Air Force’s largest RPA training center, he led teams in support of hundreds of operators.
